Airtime
Thuraya handsets are able to make calls either via satellite or via the local GSM network (post-paid only).
Pre-paid
A customer is required to purchase a SIM card. Thereafter, cards can be recharged with airtime as and when needed. Airtime is available is different packages i.e. Standard and Nova.
The Standard package can be used for calls originating anywhere in the world to anywhere in the world.
The Nova package can only be used for
calls originating from certain countries to anywhere in the world.
