Description
The control hub is plugged into the electrical socket and acts as a receiver from the rest of the sensors readings. It connects directly to the router through wifi.
The group of sensors connect to the control hub through Zigbee. This set contains, besides the control hub: 2 window & door sensors, 2 motion sensors and one wireless switch.
All rules and automations are set up directly on the Mi Home App through a very simple interface Once this set is installed, other Xiaomi products in your account will be connected to the Mi Smart Sensor Set and you will be able to customize your own automated house. Lights turning on when you pass by, purifiers starting when you close a door, etc. the possibilities are endless.

Setting Up the Application:
Option 1
For Android users: download “Mi Home” from Google Play Store.
For iOS users: download “Mi Home” from App Store.
Option 2
Scan the QD code to download and install Mi Home app.
Ensure the smartphone is connected to a 2.4GHz WiFi network.
Power on the Mi Control Hub.
Open Mi Home app, tap “+” on the upper right, and follow prompts to add devices.
If not connected, press and hold the button on the hub for 5 seconds until the yellow light fast blinks and then reconnect the device.
Option 1
Select “Add manually” on the top
Go to “Household Security” category
Select “Mi Control Hub”
Option 2
Select “Devices nearby” on the top
Adding Sensors:
Select “Device” on the top
Touch “+” at the bottom to add a child device
Select a sensor
